(1) How does a check card differ from a credit card?
Check cards are a convenient non-cash, non-check way to pay for everyday
purchases with money you have in your checking account. Unlike a credit card,
you do not need to establish a line of credit, nor is there a finance charge
or service fee with your Baylake Bank check card. However, for some
purchases you may prefer to delay billing or spread out payments over time.
That is when you may elect to use a check card.
(2) What is the cost of a check card?
A Baylake Bank check card is available without cost
and there is no activity fee. So, not only will you be saving time at check
out, you will be saving money on the cost of purchasing checks. That’s
right...the more you use your Baylake Bank check card, the more it “pays”
you!
(3) How do I get a check card?
Almost any U.S. citizen over age 18 with a personal checking account
at Baylake Bank can be issued a check card. Daily purchase limits of $1,000
(on-line) and $500 (off-line) have been established for your protection. A
business check card is also available. Contact a
Customer Service Representative for more information.
(4) Do I need a separate ATM card for use at ATM’s?
Although you may elect to keep your existing ATM card, with a Baylake Bank
check card there is no need to have both. The ATM features of your
check card
act exactly like your present ATM card. Use it at any Automated Teller
location accepting Cirrus, and all other regional networks available to Pulse
users. (All regular ATM fees and conditions apply.)
