Baylake Bank Provides Double Benefit with Market Animal
Purchase & Donations
September 15, 2010 -
Baylake Bank purchased a hog from Jacob Kaczor at the Waupaca County Fair, and
then donated the meat to the Weymont Food Pantry.
Baylake Bank also purchased a 239 pound
pig from Brett Kasuboski, at the Waushara County Fair Livestock Auction, and
then donated the meat to the Poy Sippi Food Pantry. The purpose of the Livestock
Auction Project is to instill responsibility, pride of ownership, and management
skills in youth, who often use the proceeds from the sale of their animals for
educational purposes or to invest in additional animals.
“Donating the meat to the food pantries
made the meat purchase even more rewarding. It is gratifying to know that our
purchase not only helped the kids who worked so hard to raise and show their
animals, it also helps local families in need,” said Nikki Schroeder, Baylake
Bank Financial Center Manager.
 Baylake
Bank serves its Wisconsin communities from financial centers in Brown, Door,
Green Lake, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Outagamie, Waupaca, and Waushara counties and
from its website at www.baylake.com. For
