Mobile Banking Provides Ongoing “Banking with a View”

November 4, 2009 - Baylake Bank and Cellcom have teamed up to give away two grand prize packages that both include a smart phone, plus three months of calling and data service. “We are thrilled to be able to offer our communities the chance to win these great prizes, and more importantly, that we can now provide them with mobile banking they can access from anywhere internet phone service is available,” said Paula McCarty, Baylake Bank Market Analyst.

Baylake’s new mBanc is a service for web-enabled phones that allows customers to do their banking anytime, anywhere. mBanc offers many of the same features as Baylake’s eBanc PC based online banking service – including secure internet account access that allows customers to check account balances, transfer funds, make loan payments, and more – but with mBanc, it can be done from any hand-held device with internet service.

“As we like to say, we’re offering ‘banking with a view,’ since customers can truly access their accounts from almost anywhere,” said McCarty.
