Baylake Announces Insurance Manager

August 10, 2009 - Baylake Bank President Joe Hoffmeyer recently announced that Ivan A. Delbecchi has been hired as Managing Director of Baylake Insurance Agency, Inc.

In this role, Delbecchi is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of the company’s strategy to support its planned expansion of personal and commercial insurance offerings within the Baylake franchise. His main office is in the Baylake Bank Green Bay City Center location at 301 N. Adams Street, but he will also spend significant time in all three of the bank’s regions.

Delbecchi brings with him more than 20 years of experience in sales, sales management, and business-to-business sales. Most recently, he was with Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, where he focused on insurance solutions for middle market business accounts in the state of Wisconsin. He has worked extensively with development and implementation of sales efforts in Canada and the Midwestern United States.

He graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Green Bay with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Finance and Economics focus. He was inducted to the University of Wisconsin Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000, and was a soccer MVP during his tenure with UW-Green Bay.
