Baylake Bank is helping dreams come true for an area family that would otherwise have found home ownership beyond their means. The REALTORS Association of Northeast Wisconsin is working together with the Greater Fox Cities Habitat for Humanity in sponsoring the construction of a home on Granite Street in the City of Waupaca, and Baylake recently donated $1000 to their efforts.

"As a partner in the community, Baylake Bank is dedicated to helping build the good life for the individuals and families in our area," commented Linda Kennedy, Baylake Bank Central Region President. "This donation reflects our commitment to being a good corporate neighbor. We are pleased to support this project.”

Habitat for Humanity gives a "hand up," not a hand-out, to its Partner Families. Each family that qualifies for a Habitat home must make a down payment, perform a predetermined number of sweat-equity hours on construction of the home, and make mortgage payments & pay taxes as any other homeowner does.

Baylake Bank serves its communities from 28 financial centers in Brown, Door, Green Lake, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Outagamie, Waupaca, and Waushara counties and from its website at www.baylake.com. For more information call 1-800-267-3610.
