Baylake Bank Awards Scholarships to Local Students

Baylake Bank recently awarded scholarships to five local area high school graduates for their outstanding academic accomplishments, involvement in community activities, and for their commitment to higher education. Applications were accepted from students at Manawa, Wild Rose, Weyauwega/Fremont, Waupaca, and Berlin High Schools. To be eligible, students completed applications that were reviewed by school officials.

A scholarship in the amount of $2,400 ($600 per year for four years) has been awarded to Matthew Trantow, son of Mike and Lucy Trantow of Manawa; Jodi Apps, daughter of Daniel and Roberta Apps of Wild Rose; Zachary Alix, son of Adam and Lisa Alix of New London; Samantha Voss, daughter of Clarence & Paula Voss of Weyauwega; and Benjamin Hinton, son of Kathy Hinton and Dan Hinton of Berlin.
