February 6, 2008
Baylake
Bank Marketing Officer Erica Hickey was recently awarded the prestigious
Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) designation from the Institute
of Certified Bankers (ICB).
Hickey has been with Baylake for 14 years, and is currently responsible for
advertising & marketing project management. She obtained a Bachelor of Business
Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire,
and is a graduate of Gibraltar High School in Fish Creek.
The CFMP designation that Hickey earned is awarded to individuals who
demonstrate excellence in the field of financial services marketing. To qualify
for the certification, individuals must have certain levels of experience and
education in the financial marketing profession, pass an exam, and agree to
abide by a specific code of ethics. The CFMP exam covers many areas including
financial principles, U.S. laws and regulations, market research,
characteristics of marketing plans, and marketing components.
ICB certifications, such as the CFMP designation, formally recognize individuals
who meet established standards of knowledge and expertise in specialty areas of
the financial services industry. As a subsidiary of the American Bankers
Association in Washington, D.C., ICB promotes the highest standards of
performance.
