Rosengarten Appointed to the New Role of Executive Vice President for Baylake Bank

Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin –– Baylake Corp. (OTC:BYLK.OB) President and Baylake Bank CEO Robert J. Cera announced the appointment of Teresa Rosengarten, to the new role of executive vice president for Baylake Bank. She will begin full time in that position effective December 31, 2007.

Ms. Rosengarten most recently held the position of executive vice president – consumer banking for Associated Banc-Corp, a $21 billion diversified bank holding company headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Her financial services industry leadership and experience is vast, and has included responsibility for a bank’s treasury function, including oversight for such key areas as asset and liability management. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Minnesota. In addition, she is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

“Baylake is very fortunate to add someone of Teresa’s experience and background to the ranks of its senior management team,” said Cera. Teresa’s initial priorities will include focusing on the bank’s Retail Banking Division. “Our bank has invested heavily in its financial center network during the past ten years, and we anticipate that Teresa will assist us in leveraging this investment to enhance the bank’s overall profitability in the near term,” he said.
