Baylake Bank History Indicative of Future Success

Waupaca, WI—As a state chartered bank, the history of Baylake Bank started as far back as 1876. All offices were located in Door County until 1994, at which time a strategic decision was made to grow into additional communities. Through branching, acquisitions, and mergers, the bank grew from twelve locations in 1996 to the current twenty-eight, which includes Waupaca, King, Fremont, Manawa, Poy Sippi, and Berlin in the central Wisconsin region.

Branches in Waupaca County were opened with the 1996 acquisition of  "The Bank" at N2723 Hwy. QQ, and the 1999 addition of a new facility at 936 Furman Drive. All offices specialize in providing comprehensive financial services. "Our core standards of excellence, innovation, customer focus, and teamwork are key factors that contribute to customer confidence and the bank's success", stated Kay Anderson, Baylake Bank Waupaca Financial Center Manager. Lisa Porrey, manager of the King Financial Center, added "We are proud of Baylake Bank's contribution to the communities we serve."
