Chris Ashley, Baylake Bank Door County Regional Board Chair, recently
announced the appointment of Polly Alberts to the Baylake Bank Door County
Regional Board. A Door County native, Alberts brings extensive business
knowledge and Southern Door County community involvement experience and
background to the now 12-member board.
Alberts' business experience includes the start-up and management of a day
care, as well as 15 years of helping manage Alberts Plastering, a
successful local company. "Polly is a wonderful addition to our regional
board. Not only will she represent the interests of the Southern Door
community, she brings a valuable business owner perspective from a dynamic
and growing part of the Baylake Bank service area," said Baylake Bank CEO
T.L. Herlache.
Alberts and her husband, John, have three children. Together, they follow
a variety of sporting events and are involved in a variety of school
activities. In addition, she is a member of the Door County Home Builders
Association and the Door County Community Foundation, President of the
Southern Door Community Foundation, a Brussels Shining Star 4-H Leader,
and a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church of Kolberg.
"Baylake Bank still differentiates itself as a community bank, and does it
very well. They are great supporters of the community and are involved
with their customers. I am very pleased to be part of the local board that
helps shape the bank's decisions for our community," Alberts said.
Chris Ashley is Co-owner of the C & C Supper Club in Fish Creek, and has
been on Baylake's Door County Board for over five years. Other Door County
