Baylake Bank Announces Management Appointments

Baylake Bank Senior Vice President of Human Resources Sharon Haines
recently announced the appointments of Lydia S. Bessert as Vice
President of Buildings and Facilities, Michelle A. Knaus as Vice
President Director of Retail, and Scott M. Fortune as Vice President /
Senior Commercial Loan Officer.
Bessert has worked with Baylake Bank for the last 11 years and has been instrumental in helping the franchise to grow in the Green Bay market area. She has more than 28 years of banking experience and in September of 2005 became responsible for facilities expansion and renovation. She currently resides in Ashwaubenon, and is on the board of the Ashwaubenon Business Association, the Greater Green Bay YMCA, and the Wisconsin Bankers Association. Knaus has worked with Baylake Bank for the last four years and is responsible for managing all aspects of Baylake Bank's retail banking services in the Green Bay area. Knaus currently serves as a board member with the Downtown Green Bay, Inc., and is a member of the Rotary Club of Green Bay. Fortune came to Baylake Bank in September of 2002 and has more than 14 years of experience as a commercial lender. He has helped a variety of start-up and growing businesses in our area and was recently recognized by Baylake Bank peers as the 2005 Sales Champion for his willingness to share his expertise and enthusiasm with fellow employees. Fortune currently services on the Board of Directors of the Volunteer Center of Brown County, and Little Mittens, Ltd. He is an active member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
